Today’s post will be brief, but I couldn’t let the day go by without sharing about Bodhi’s first birthday. We absolutely love Golden Retrievers, and Bodhi is no exception.
Our little Golden Retriever puppy isn’t quite so little anymore. Weighing in at just under 60lbs, she outweighs both of her older sisters by 10lbs. She’s super smart, and knows all of her commands both audibly and by hand signals. We couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our 4-legged family.
We had the pleasure of knowing the breeder, so she let us sneak over anytime we wanted to cuddle puppies. I even had the opportunity to photograph the entire litter of Golden Retriever puppies a couple of times before they went to their new owners. We even had pick of the litter, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. She’s been perfect.
When she was just 3 months old, we hit the road in our RV for the winter. We spent two weeks traveling to the east coast, and she adjusted to the RV life surprisingly well. Bodhi’s been in well over 20 states during her first year, and I have a feeling she’ll be seeing a lot more.
